In July I had the opportunity to return to Santiago Laxopa for another fiesta. I got to see and learn about more of Laxopa, visit with friends, play piccolo with the band, and record some audio and video for my research and the Zapotec Language Project. I hope to have some transcribed and translated videos to share soon!
